Sunday 1st July 2018 was one of the most special and important days of my life. It was the day that we said goodbye to Imogene De Rosa, and a big hello to Imogene Jordan!

Surrounded by all of our close friends and family, JJ and I said our nupitals in the most beautiful venue in my hometown of Palermo, in Italy. My Nonna (my 88 year old Grandma) was also able to join us, and it was so wonderful to be able to share that moment with the eldest member of our family.

Location: Castello Lanza di Trabia - Sicily.
This beautiful castle is so close to my hometown, it was almost an obvious choice. It has such a perfect view of the ocean and the city around it, as well as the most amazing architecture. I fell in love almost instantly.

Dresses: Both of my dresses were designed and custom-made by Isabella Catherine De Rosa. Of course my sister would be the one to make my dresses - there is nobody that knows me better, and I could trust her to make my dreams come to life. The bridesmaid dresses were also designed by Isabella, each one made to fit perfect for the shape and size of each member of my bride-squad.

Bridesmaids: I'm one of three sister's, and I was lucky enough to be able to share my day with Indiana and Isabella by my side, Izzie being the Maid of Honor, and Indi being a bridesmaid. My other bridesmaids were Arabella - JJ's step-sister, Della and Laura - JJ's cousins, and my close friend Taylor. My daughter, Lucia, played the part of our flower girl, and looked beautiful.

Groomsmen: JJ decided to have his Father, Edward, as his best man. The groomsmen were my brother-in-law, Oliver, and his two brother's, Nick and Drew, and JJ's nephew - Adam.. My God-Son, Leo, and JJ's great nephew, Zac, were our only page boys.

First dance: Our first dance was to Halo by Beyonce. The lyrics mean a lot to both of us, and we believe that they symbolise our relationship well. After this, I also danced with my father, and JJ's father and step-father to I Loved Her First by Heartland. JJ danced with his mother, step-mother, and my mother to Mama's Song by Carrie Underwood. We decided to do this to remind both of our parents that JJ and I will always love and care for them no matter what, and that family will always mean the most to us. Lucia also got to dance with us to I Will Spend My Whole Life Loving You by Imaginary Future.

This day truly was one of the most beautiful that I have ever experienced. It was everything that I have dreamed of and so much more. There is just so many people to thank, Izzie, my Mom (our cake goddess!), the staff catering the occasion who were so professional and polite, all of the guests, the drivers of our cars, our wonderful preacher who held out on his retirement for one last wedding (and my parents were also the first that he had ever wed back in the 80's, too!), my hair-stylist, make up artist, and the flight attendents that put up with JJ's crazy friends on the airplane journey's to-and-from the States!
I have been blessed to have such a wonderful man by my side. Someone who not only loves me unconditionally and cares for me in a way like no other, but someone who fought to be with me for a very long time, and continuously puts me first. Jesse, I promise to love you every day from now until forever, and be the best wife that I can possibly be. Ti voglio bene!
