The Royal Wedding: the best outfits of the day.

I love a good wedding just as much as the next person, but the Royal Wedding was a special day shared across the world by millions of people. Meghan looked gorgeous, however I was incredibly disappointed by the choice of dress... In my honest opinion, I thought that she looked as if she'd put the garment bag on, rather than the actual wedding dress itself. Though, I know that many people will not share the same opinion as me and would have found the dress completely stunning. Despite the bride's slight faux pas, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at what the guests were wearing, and here is a few of my favorites.

1. Carey Mulligan.

The British actress attended the wedding ceremony with her husband, Marcus Mumford, in a beautiful embroidered Erdem dress. This was by far my favorite look of the day. Carey looked so elegant in the floral maxi dress, and I adored the ruffled sleeves and sash waist. Her nude Jimmy Choo's completed the look, a look that was so fresh and graceful, it was hard not to fall in love with.

2. Amal Clooney.

Amal's bright yellow ensemble was one of the easiest dresses to spot throughout the day. The dress, made by Stella McCartney, was summery and eye-catching, and just completely gorgeous. Matched with gold heels and a gold clutch, Amal's outfit has been dubbed by several tabloids as the best dressed at the royal wedding.

3. Sofia Wellesley.

Sofia's floral Valentino dress was completely gorgeous. Ankle length with a nice collar, it was such a classy thing to wear. I'm seriously in love with this dress, especially with the brown heels and that gold purse that she's matched it with.

4. Troian Bellisario.

The Pretty Little Liars star looked fantastic in this Temperley London dress, from their Fall 2018 collection. I particularly loved the nude colour, and the detailing on the shoulders. The Sophia Webster sandals were a nice touch too.
